1. Why didn’t your thermometer read exactly O degrees Celsius after it had been immersed in ice water for several minutes?
2. Why didn’t your thermometer read exactly 100 degrees Celsius at the point your water was boiling? (hint: it is for a different reason than question 1)
3. What is an experimental scatter? Does your graph show one? What is a heating curve?
