Homework: 05/05/08-05/09/08

Hello parents, we have been working on memorizing the multiplication tables.  Most of us have mastered the times zero, one, two, three, ten, and eleven. This week we are going to try to memorize the x4 multiplication table! Please help your children memorize these as they will be “tested” by Friday.

Monday: May 5th, 2008

Math: X’s 3&4 Drill —Memorize: 4X4=16, 4X5=20—
Spelling: Pyramids!
Reading/Writing: Read 20 min. ***PARENTS, PLEASE SIGN THE READING LOG!*** 

Tuesday: May 6th, 2008

Math: X’s 3&4 Drill —Memorize: 4X6=24, 4X7=28—
Spelling: Finish Sentences (IF not done in class)
Reading/Writing: Read 15 min. What is the title of the book? Who is the author? Who is the illustrator? ***PARENTS, PLEASE SIGN THE READING LOG***

Wednesday: May 7th, 2008

Math: X’s 4 Drill! —Memorize: 4x
Spelling: Study for Spelling Bee!
Reading/Writing: Read 20 min.  ***PARENTS, PLEASE SIGN THE READING LOG***

Thursday:  May 8th, 2008

Math: Study the x’s 4. TEST TOMORROW!
Spelling: Study for test tomorrow!
Reading/Writing: Read 10 min. ***PARENTS, PLEASE SIGN THE READING LOG***

Friday: May 9th, 2008

Math: Practice the x’s 4 and x’s 5 this weekend.
Spelling: Write the words missed 5 times each.
