Homework: 04/21/08-04/25/08

This week the children will be taking the Standford Achievement Standardized Tests. I urge you to keep them reading as much as possible!!

To make way for their ensured “resting” time I will not assign a Saxon page for homework this week. I may send a drill to review with your child concepts and maintain speed.

Please make sure that they eat a healthy breakfast as they will be testing from 8:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. & make sure that they are well rested!

Monday:

Math: Drill!
Spelling: Pyramids
Reading/Writing: Read as much as possible! AT LEAST 15 min. ***PARENTS, PLEASE SIGN THE READING LOG.***

Tuesday:

Math: NO MATH HOMEWORK!
Spelling: Review the words!
Reading/Writing: Read 15-20 min. find 3 compound words! ***PARENTS, PLEASE SIGN THE READING LOG.***

Wednesday:

Math: Drill!
Spelling: Study for Spelling Bee!
Reading/Writing: Read 15-20 min. ***PARENTS, PLEASE SIGN THE READING LOG.***

Thursday:

Math: NO MATH HOMEWORK!
Spelling: Study for Spelling Test
Reading/Writing: Read 15-20 min. ***PARENTS, PLEASE SIGN THE READING LOG.***

Friday:

Math: Drills, drills, and more drills!
Spelling: Write the words missed on the Spelling Test 5 times each!
Reading/Writing: NO READING HOMEWORK!
