Golf-a-Thon

Dear Faustina Families,
We are approaching our spring fundraiser, the Faustina Golf-a-thon. The Golf-a-thon is scheduled for Monday, April 4th and the Dinner/Silent Auction is scheduled for Saturday, April 9th in the school’s cafeteria at 6:00 PM.
Our current need right now is more golfers. You do not need to be a good golfer to join us. It is not a traditional tournament, but a golf marathon, where players try to sink as many holes as possible in 8 hours. Experience level is irrelevant. Some of our past golfers had never even golfed before, literally! The players have a lot of fun out there. Faustina has reserved the entire course just for our group. And, may I add that the course is really great. It used to be a very exclusive private country club.
Each golfer is asked to receive pledges either per hole they play or flat donations for the day. Each golfer’s minimum goal is $1,000. This can easily be done with 20 friends pledging $1.00 a hole (playing 50 holes) or 10 friends pledging a flat donation of $100 each, etc, etc.
Faustina depends on this spring fundraiser to meet it’s financial obligations for the year. We could really use your help. Would you consider playing with us? Please address any inquiries to sharonwood33@gmail.com.
