Biographical Sketch
I am Catholic convert from the priesthood of the Episcopal Church. After being received into the Catholic Church by Bishop Kevin Vann of Fort Worth, I was personally appointed by Auxiliary Bishop Kevin Farrell of Washington, D.C. as the Assistant Director of the Catholic Information Center in Washington, D.C. The Catholic Information Center is located three blocks north of the White House and is a joint apostolate of Opus Dei and the Archdiocese of Washington, D.C. I plan to begin doctoral work at the University of Dallas in the fall of 2007.
Education
- GPA 3.79, magna cum laude .
- Endorsed candidate for Rhodes/Oxford scholarship, 1999.
- Minor in Classics.
Experience
- Presented over 30 public lectures about Catholic theology.
- Created and maintained the “K Street Catholic Podcast,” a podcast listened to by thousands from nearly every continent in the world.
- Presented two popular public lecture series: “The Catholic Church and the Apocalypse” and “the Jewish Roots of the Catholic Church.”
- Assisted in development, raising a total of $380,000.
- General Manager of the CIC bookstore – an ideal collection of orthodox titles from Ignatius, TAN, Scepter, Sophia Institute, Ave Maria Press, Spence Publishing, etc.
- Preaching featured on WR Classical 101.1 FM
- Provided Invocation for the Tarrant County Courthouse.
- Created high-school curricula for various subjects: Nicene Creed and New Testament.
- Taught Sixth Grade Confirmation/Catechism class.
- Responsible for ministry to College, Senior High, and Junior High Students
- Coordinator of activities, fundraisers, community service, and events.
- Manager of $50,000 student budget.
- Responsible for Sunday School curricula for each school grade.
Personal
Literate in Latin, Greek, and Hebrew. Brief missionary work in China. Fly fisherman. Scored a perfect score on the analytical writing portion of the GRE. Currently attempting to publish a novel and a non-fictional book on Jewish/Roman relations. Father of five children. Appeared on EWTN’s “The Journey Home” and “Catholic Answers Live”. Enjoy backpacking. Eagle Scout.
