Welcome!

This will be my third year teaching at Faustina Academy. During my time at Faustina, I have taught 5th grade through 12th grade science as well as Algebra and Pre-Algebra. This year I will be teaching 7th-12th grade science. Before teaching at Faustina Academy, I attended University of Dallas. I graduated in 2007 with a BA in Chemistry.

Students seem to learn science best by experiencing it through hands on experiments. Learning abstract concepts is best achieved though comparing it to something tangible. To that end, it is my goal to supplement class lectures with a wide variety of demonstrations, experiments, and field trips.  Throughout the school year, if you have suggestions for demonstrations or field trips pertaining to the material we are covering, feel free to share them with me.
