Reminders

1) Please review the Dress Code for Winter Wear. According to grade level, the Land’s End Fleece zip-up jackets or the Parker V-Neck sweaters are approved for winter wear, including white or navy tights for girls. You may wearyour winter coats to school, but at 8:00  AM, all unapproved uniform items must be taken off before prayers.

2) For PE, the students may wear navy blue sweats for the PE uniform. They also may wear winter coats for outside activities.

3) Please be prompt to school. Since classes are full, and lockers are stationary, tardiness causes many unnecessary disruptions.

Blessings,

School begins on Tuesday, January 3rd.  Before this semester starts, just a
few reminders:
1) Please review the Dress Code for Winter Wear. According to grade
level, the Land’s End Fleece zip-up jackets or the Parker V-Neck sweaters are
approved for winter wear, including white or navy tights for girls. You may wear
your winter coats to school, but at 8:00 AM, all unapproved uniform items must
be taken off before prayers.
2) For PE, the students may wear navy blue sweats for the PE uniform.  They

3) Please be prompt to school.  Since classes are full, and lockers are
stationary, tardiness causes many unnecessary disruptions.
4) Report Cards will be sent home this week.  If there is an error, please
contact the teacher for the correction.  Sometimes, errors are made in the
system, but are easily corrected when brought to our attention.
5) Please welcome our new upper school Math Teacher, Joseph Avant.  He is
studying for his Masters at the University of Dallas, and has an undergraduate
degree in math.  Mr. Tony Winstead has graciously helped us out this
semester during Mr. Ayer’s surgery and the Math position until we found another
teacher, he has since officially retired.
6) First Friday Mass will be this Friday, January 6th at 10:00 AM.
Here’s to a new year and a great semester!
Blessings,
Christina

Upcoming Events

Hello Teachers,

First, I want to let you know that I am in and out the next couple of days because of a sinus infection that doesn’t seem to be clearing up.

Second, I want to remind you that we have Mass tomorrow and next Friday as well. So, we will be on Mass bells tomorrow. Also, please begin talking to your class about All Saint’s Day celebration we will be having on Monday, October 31st. For lower school teachers, if you would like more details, please ask Mrs. Stirton. The students need to be reviewing saints and picking one to represent for that day.  Student Council will be in charge of the stations.

Also, this is early, but we will be having a Christmas Program at the end of this semester. Each class (PK-6th) will be doing something for the program, either, singing, a presentation, or short skit. Again, if you need more details, please ask either myself or Mrs. Stirton. Room moms are not involved in the Christmas Program, this is entirely teacher directed and planned.

Thanks so much!

Christina

Friday, we will have Mass at 10:00.
