Congratulation to Dominic Sipe for winning the Texas Prep State Wrestling Championship for the 3rd year in a row on Saturday 2/4/12. He also was voted the Most Outstanding Wrestler of the Tournament. Congratulation also to Zach Sipe who wrestled very well at State, and as a sophomore we look forward to his Junior and Senior year. What an outstanding job by these two young men representing Faustina Academy. A thanks also goes out to Coach Greg Sipe who is a very proud coach and dad.

Dominic Sipe won the Woodlands Invitational Championship for the 152lbs class on 12/3/11 and was voted by the coaches as the most outstanding wrestler of the tournament. This was a large Public school tournament with the top wrestlers from the State of Texas. This past weekend of 12/10/11 the wrestling team was in Tulsa, OK for the Mid America Nationals where Dominic Sipe took 1st place in the 152lbs class and Zach Sipe placed 10th out of 33 in his weight class in this Nationally Recognized Tournament

All District Defense – 1st team Dominic Sipe. 2nd Team Zach Sipe, Nick Howard and Honorable Mention Luke Stirton. All District Offense – 1st Team Dominic Sipe and Zach Sipe. 2nd Team Luke Stirton and JP Rodriquez. Honorable Mention Austin Killian and Russell Huffines. All State Defense – 2nd Team Dominic Sipe. All State Offense – 1st Team Dominic Sipe. 2nd Team Zach Sipe. Congratulations to each of these players for a job well done. We would like to thank all of the players and parents for another exciting football season.

Playoff Victory!!!

What an incredible victory this Saturday by our boys as they came from behind to play a great game and defeat Waco Parkview 49 – 30. We will now be playing this Saturday @ 2:00pm in Springtown Tx vs Highpoint Prep. I would like to thank the Cheerleaders who made it out to the game to root us on.

What a great year our girls had by finishing the year as Co District Champions and making the final four at the State Tournament this past week. We would like to congratulate Gina Raab, Reeve Rohter and the whole volleyball team for an outstanding season.

What a great football game for our boy’s last Friday as they played the best game of the year by beating Temple Lewisville 63-16 for the Homecoming win.

The girls are playing some great volleyball with one game left and a 6-1 District record. A win Tuesday 10/11/11 will give them a tie for the District Championship. Go Falcons!!!

Volleyball Game vs High Point Prep!!!

What an amazing night it was!!! Our girls took a big stand by beating High Point Prep 25-21, 25-23 and 26-24 to tie them for 1st place in our District. I hope as many that can will be at the next home game to root our awesome volleyball team to victory. Great job girls and great job coach Raab and coach Rohter.

We had a great game last Friday in a 48 – 0 win against Stongate Christian. We open District play this Friday against Athens Prep
and hope we have a large crowd to root for the home team as this will be a very tough game.
