We are asking everyone that can to come out this Friday and support our team as we take on the Defending State Champs St Paul Prep. This is an important District game and we need everyone cheering for our boys. The game is at 7:00pm Travis Middle School 1600 Finley Rd Irving Tx.

The guys played an awesome 2nd and 3rd quarter this past Friday to beat Wylie Prep 74 – 27. The defense took over in the 3rd quarter and Dominic Sipe ran for 2 touchdowns and threw for 3 more in a 33 point 3rd quarter domination. Great job guys and an awesome job once again by are remarkable Cheerleaders.

1st Grade 9/27-10/1 Homework

Monday night: Math – 14 B, Phonics – homework sheet 11 (They have to code the vowels – putting either a macron or a breve above the vowel in each word – match the picture to the correct word, draw the syllable breaks, write a c or v under each letter to show if the letter is a consonant or vowel, and cross out the c in words if it is a silent c), Spelling – write 5 different sentences using the first 5 words of the spelling list. They need to write these on the back of the handwriting paper they used to write the words three times each. These should be in their red folders.
Tuesday night: Math – 15 1B, Phonics – homework sheet 12 (same instructions as above), Spelling – write 5 different sentences using words 6-10 of the spelling word list on the back of the handwriting paper
Wednesday night: Math – 15 B, Phonics – homework sheet 13, Spelling – write 5 different sentences using words 11-15 from the spelling word list on the back of the handwriting paper
Thursday night: Math – 16 B, Phonics – homework sheet 14, Spelling – study for test and write 5 different sentences using words 16-20 from the spelling word list. Have the poem “Autumn Fires” memorized.
