Monday

Math: Drills

Spelling: Finish 5 times each if not completed in class, and Spelling Sentences. (Note* The children will have time to do both in class- we will be having a sub while I am at the Teacher Luncheon.)

Reading: Read at least 15 minutes.  Who is your favorite character and why?

Tuesday

Math: Drills

Spelling: Complete a story using five of your Spelling Words.

English: Go over review- test tomorrow!

Reading: Optional.

Wednesday

Math: Drills

Writing: Complete riddles if not completed in class.

Relgion: Get ready for Quiz.

Spelling: Get ready for Spelling Bee.

Reading: Read 15 minutes.

Thursday

Math: Drills

Spelling: Get ready for test.

History: Get ready for test.

Reading: Optional.

Friday

Math: Drill Packet

Reading: Read 20 minutes each day.  Find 10 Verbs, 10 Nouns, and 10 Adjectives from your reading.

No homework this week, except for memorizing the poem for graduation.  I sent home a copy of the poem in the folders last week, and I sent home several more today with the students who said they lost their copy.  In addition, the poem is listed at the bottom of this page.  We have been working on it in class, and we have made it through all of the stanzas.  It would be helpful if the kids reviewed the entire poem at least once every night.  Thanks, and have a great week!

 All things Bright and Beautiful

All things bright and beautiful,

All creatures great and small,

All things wise and wonderful,

The Lord God made them all.

 

Each little flower that opens,

Each little bird that sings,

He made their glowing colors,

He made their tiny wings.

 

The rich man in his castle,

God made them, high or lowly,

And ordered their estate.

 

The purple-headed mountain,

The river running by,

The sunset, and the morning,

Hello!!! This week we are going to have lots of fun and games, but with that comes a bit of “hard” work too! Seeing that it is the last week of school, we are going to review and re-enforce the concepts we have covered this year.

Spelling: Pyramids! (our last ones!)
