Because we are God’s children we can say Our Father, Who art in Heaven.
When we say, “hallowed be Thy Name,” we are saying God’s name with respect and honor.
When we say “Thy kingdom come,” we are saying that we are all united in God.
When we say, “Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven,” we are saying that we want God to do what He needs to in order for us to be happy.
When we say, “…give us this day, our daily bread,” we are asking God to provide us with all that we need.
When we say, “Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us…” we are asking that our sins may be washed away and for us to love one another.
When we say, “Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil,” we are asking God to protect us from sinning.
God always hears our prayers.
We can trust God to answer prayers the best way because of His love.
