November 26th-30th
Monday 11/26: Read Chapters 16-18 (be sure to be on the lookout for examples of the virtues you will use in your book report. Take notes now and it will be so much easier to write your report!)

Tuesday 11/27: Read Chapters 19-21.

Wednesday 11/28: Read Chapters 22-24.

Thursday 11/29: Read Chapters 25-28. Study for tomorrow’s quiz.
Friday 11/30: Read Chapters 29-33.

December 3rd-7th

Monday 12/03: Read Chapters 34-36.

Tuesday 12/04: Read Chapters 37-39.

Wednesday: 12/04: Read Chapters 40-41.

Thursday: 12/05: Write the introduction and first body paragraph for your book report (see the “requirements” below). Study for tomorrow’s quiz.

Friday: 12/06: Write the 2nd and 3rd body paragraphs and the conclusion.

Requirements/What I’m Looking For:

This isn’t a regular book report where you just summarize what happened. I am looking for a specific form.

Opening paragraph: a strong introduction which will include the title of the book and the name of the author. In the final sentence of your opening paragraph, say which three virtues you will write about.

1st Body Paragraph: Take the first virtue you have chosen to write about, and give at least two, preferably three examples from the book of how the saint exemplified that virtue #1.

2nd Body Paragraph: Take the second virtue you have selected, and give at least two, preferably three examples from the book of how the saint exemplified virtue #2.

3rd Body Paragraph: Take the third virtue you have singled out, and give at least two, preferably three examples from the book of how the saint exemplified virtue #3.

Conclusion: Again, restate the three virtues. Finish off with examples of how you, concretely and specifically can imitate those virtues in your own life.
